'Dinosaur Country Shopping Mall', an online direct transaction marketplace for agricultural and specialty products directly operated by Goseong County, received the grand prize in the consumer-friendly brand category for the 9th consecutive year at the '2026 Korea Consumer Awards' hosted by the Korea Consumer Association on March 10.

The "Korea Consumer Awards" recognize companies and brands that have contributed to the advancement of consumer rights and communication with customers. Dinosaur Country Shopping Mall has consistently won awards since 2018, earning high marks for quality excellence, service satisfaction, and consumer trust.

The shopping mall's competitiveness stems from its direct operation by Goseong County and its strong quality control. Upon entry, products undergo on-site inspection and review, and only the finest agricultural and specialty products certified by the Goseong County Governor are sold.

Currently, the shopping mall boasts approximately 120 vendors offering over 530 products. Agricultural and marine products from the Goseong region, including its signature product, Life Environment Rice, as well as scallops, oysters, persimmons, and mushrooms, are sold to consumers nationwide.

Notably, from its inception, the company secured a strong customer base by maintaining reasonable prices through free shipping on all products and minimizing distribution margins. The company's customer center, which responds promptly to customer complaints, is also considered a key factor in its nine consecutive awards.

An official from Gosung County stated about this award, “This is the result of both consumers and vendors working together,” and added that they will continue to provide food that consumers can purchase with confidence and strive to continuously build trust.
