London, June 5, 2025 -- The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, has unveiled the list of restaurants ranked No. 51 to No. 100, two weeks ahead of its annual awards ceremony scheduled for June 19 in Turin, Piedmont, Italy. The expanded list includes restaurants from six continents and was compiled based on votes from 1,120 culinary experts, including chefs, food writers, and global food enthusiasts.

 

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, reveals the list of restaurants ranked No.51 to No.100, spanning 25 territories across six continents. The full ranking will be unveiled at a live awards ceremony in Turin, Region of Piedmont, Italy on June 19.

 

  • The list of 51–100 includes restaurants from 37 cities across six continents.
  • Twelve new restaurants from 12 cities, including São Paulo, San Francisco, Macau, and Tulum, have been added to the list.
  • Nine restaurants are from Asia, 20 from Europe, eight from North America, eight from South America, three from Africa, and two from Oceania
  • Among the new entrants, Arca in Tulum, Mexico, achieved the highest ranking at No. 67
  • New Zealand's Queenstown made its debut on the 51–100 list with Amisfield Restaurant at No. 99

 

European restaurants dominate the list with 20 entries. Newcomers include Koan in Copenhagen (No. 91), Cocina Hermanos Torres in Barcelona (No. 78), Txispa in Aconado (No. 85), and Al Gatto Verde in Modena (No. 92). Germany was represented by Restaurant Tim Raue (No. 58), Nobelhart & Schmutzig (No. 59), and Tantris (No. 73). Spain was represented by Quique Dacosta (No. 65), Aponiente (No. 84), and Mugaritz (No. 87).

 

Asia saw new additions from Macau and Shanghai, joining restaurants from Seoul, Tokyo, Mumbai, and Singapore. Cape Town has three restaurants on the list, with Salsify at the Roundhouse debuting at No. 88.

 

In North America, three new restaurants have entered the list: Arca in Tulum (No. 67), Huniik in Merida (No. 89), and César in New York (No. 98). Atelier Crenn in San Francisco has re-entered the list at No. 96, while Le Bernardin in New York has climbed to No. 90.

 

In South America, São Paulo's Tuju (No. 70) was the only new entry, joining restaurants that re-entered the list from Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Quito, and Cusco. Sydney's Saint Peter rose to No. 66, and New Zealand saw its first entry with Amisfield Restaurant in Queenstown (No. 99).
