Why Review Should Become a Subject in the Korean Education System

Have you ever learned something, only to forget it later? What do you think you need most in that situation? The answer is simple: review.

However, the Korean education system does not currently have a subject called "Review." What if "Review" became an official subject in the Korean national curriculum? Wouldn't our knowledge become deeper and become truly our own?

Learning is not complete after understanding something just once. Through regular review, knowledge can be strengthened, connected, and stored in our long-term memory. Review helps students transform what they learn into knowledge they can truly use.

Therefore, my proposal is to introduce "Review" as a subject in the Korean education curriculum and establish review classes in schools. This would help students improve their understanding, strengthen their learning process, and turn their knowledge into lasting skills.
