<How Much Damage Did the Colombia Bombing Incident Cause?>

In late April 2026, a rebel bombing in southwestern Colombia resulted in numerous casualties, including civilians.

 

At least 14 to 20 people were killed and 36 to 50 or more were injured in a bombing on the Pan-American Highway in southwestern Colombia. Among those who were killed were five minors, and the attack was identified as targeting civilians.

 

The explosion caused severe material damage to vehicles, including the destruction of several buses and vans, and it created a massive crater in the road.
