The 2026 KBO All-Star Game, known as the “Festival of Stars,” was held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on July 11. Many of the best players in Korean professional baseball gathered for this special event. With thousands of fans cheering in the stadium, the Nanum All-Stars defeated the Dream All-Stars 10-2. However, this game was more meaningful than a normal All-Star Game because it was the final KBO All-Star Game to be held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
The Nanum All-Stars were made up of players from the LG Twins, Hanwha Eagles, NC Dinos, KIA Tigers, and Kiwoom Heroes. The Dream All-Stars included players from the Doosan Bears, Lotte Giants, Samsung Lions, SSG Landers, and KT Wiz. During the regular season, these players compete against each other for their own teams. However, for the All-Star Game, they joined together and played as one team.

From the beginning of the game, the Nanum All-Stars showed strong batting. Their players continued to get hits and create scoring chances. By the end of the game, the team had recorded 22 hits, setting a new KBO All-Star Game record for the most hits by one team. With powerful hitting from many players, Nanum increased its lead and finally won the game 10-2.
Players from the Hanwha Eagles especially stood out during the game. Catcher Heo In-seo, who was playing in his first All-Star Game, recorded four hits and one RBI in five at-bats. Even though it was his first appearance on the All-Star stage, he showed confidence and excellent batting skills.

The competition for the title of “Mr. All-Star,” the Most Valuable Player of the game, was also interesting. Hanwha Eagles players Moon Hyun-bin, Lee Do-yoon, and Heo In-seo were all strong candidates after their impressive performances. In the final voting, Heo In-seo received the most support and was named Mr. All-Star. Winning the award in his first All-Star Game made the moment even more special for him.

Other players also received awards for their performances. Moon Hyun-bin recorded four hits and won the Outstanding Hitter Award. Ryu Hyun-jin received the Outstanding Pitcher Award, while Doosan Bears player Park Jun-soon won the Outstanding Defensive Player Award. These players showed their skills and gave baseball fans many exciting moments.
