Reading Helps Us Think More Deeply
With the development of smartphones, tablets, and artificial intelligence (AI), we now live in a world where we can easily access information anytime and anywhere. Because of these technological advances, some people believe that reading is no longer important. However, I believe that reading is still important in the digital age.

The reason is that the form of reading has changed, but reading itself has not disappeared. In the past, people mainly read printed books. Today, however, people also read e-books, web novels, online news articles, and digital magazines. Although the way we read has changed from paper to digital devices, people still read to gain knowledge and information.
In addition, reading does more than provide information. It helps develop critical thinking, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills. Short videos and social media posts can deliver information quickly, but reading is much more effective for understanding complex ideas and organizing our own thoughts. These skills are still essential for learning, making decisions, and evaluating information in the digital age.
The digital age has not eliminated reading. Instead, it has changed the way people read. Therefore, we should continue to develop the habit of reading by using not only printed books but also e-books and other digital resources. Even though times have changed, the value of reading remains the same, and it will continue to play an important role in our lives.
