Many people suffer from sleep deprivation because of schoolwork, work, and the use of electronic
devices. teens should sleep 8~10 hours, and adults should sleep 7~9 hours a day. But mant people
don't sleep enough. Although many think that sleeping less is a normal part of a busy life, However, not
getting enough sleep can have serious effects on both physical and mental health.
Sleep deprivation can cause many problems. It reduces concentration and memory, making it harder
to study or work effectively. It can also weaken the immune system, making people more likely to get
sick. In addition, a lack of sleep can increase stress and anxiety,. Over time, it may raise the risk of obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and accidents caused by drowsiness.
There are several warning signs of sleep deprivation: Feeling very sleepy during the day, having
difficulty waking up in the morning, making mistakes , and feeling tired even after sleeping are common signs. Mood changes, such as becoming easily irritated, can also indicate that a person is not getting
enough sleep.
Then what do we do to prevent sleep deprivation? Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day helps maintain a healthy sleep schedule. It is also important to avoid using smartphones or other
electronic devices before bedtime. Limiting caffeine, exercising regularly, and creating a quiet and
comfortable sleeping environment can also improve sleep quality. Getting enough sleep is essential for
staying healthy and living a balanced life.
