[Korea Education Newspaper] The '2nd 2026 KPGA Insight Forum,' organized by the Korea Professional Golf Association (President Kim Won-seop, hereinafter KPGA), was successfully held on May 13 at the conference room on the 10th floor of the KPGA building in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The '2026 KPGA Insight Forum,' led by the KPGA Technical Education Committee, is a knowledge-sharing platform designed to establish a systematic education system that enhances members' expertise and enables the rapid sharing of rapidly changing golf industry trends and the latest technological information with the industry.
At the '2nd KPGA Insight Forum,' Trackman Korea delivered lectures to approximately 70 KPGA members who registered on a first-come, first-served basis, on the topics of 'Definition of Trackman Data' and 'Trackman Data Specific Methods and Utilization.'
The lecture continued the forum with content regarding the meaning and correlation of the 39 types of data provided by TrackMan, measurement methods, and how they can be utilized during lessons and practice.
TrackMan Korea stated, “This forum was an even more meaningful time thanks to the enthusiastic interest and active participation of KPGA members,” adding, “We hope that TrackMan’s precise analysis solutions and data will provide a scientific training environment for KPGA professional players and serve as a foundation to drive the technological growth of Korean professional golf.”
A member who attended the forum on this day commented, "It was a valuable time where I could quantify and clearly understand data that I had only vaguely known while conducting lessons in the field," adding, "Through the knowledge-sharing platform provided by the association, I gained the confidence to grow to the next level as a professional."
Meanwhile, at the first '2026 KPGA Insight Forum' held on April 1, Lee Si-woo, a member of the KPGA Technical Education Committee and director of Big Fish Golf Academy, gave a lecture on the topics of 'KPGA and US PGA, Characteristics of Each Tour in Different Environments' and 'Essential Elements for Tour Players: Condition, Performance, and Practical Balance'.
Following the successful hosting of the first forum, the KPGA plans to continue the '2026 KPGA Insight Forum,' which shares the latest industry trends and insights with KPGA members. Future schedules will be announced via the official KPGA website and application.
